Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for The Sims 3 Deluxe - PC/Mac at Amazon.com. Read honest and unbiased. And does crash a lot, like the rest of the Sims games. I don't like how it's all this online stuff now, I HATE the 'feed', and I miss the timeline found in the Sims 2. I have yet to build a home on my own because of. I love building community lots for my Sims games. Sims need things to do outside of their home lots and that’s what community lots are: bars, lounges, restaurants, parks, etc. Build a new gym, library, museum, or whatever you think your town needs! Looking for game similar to build mode on The Sims. Here's a couple of building games, where you can design things, but you don't really get to first person walk through them. It's far from the build mode on The Sims, but as someone who enjoyed that part of the Sims, I felt right at home in Cities:Skylines! Also, Cities:Skylines is on. The Sims is one of the best-selling social simulation video game sagas in history, if you like that kind of experience, there are many other games like the Sims to have fun. The Sims is a game which is best known for the PC platform; the game began many years ago, where the goal was to build a home for a family and do everything possible to.
- A thread of mine has life simulation games: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/788271/want-to-see-a-few-the-sims-clones/p11
- Oooh interesting thread But too bad that there's never been any real competition0
- Te best you'll get i think is Virtual Families which isnt much competition .
- Second life can be considered a competition.. Not really.
Thank you! I'll be sure to check it out!A thread of mine has life simulation games: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/788271/want-to-see-a-few-the-sims-clones/p1
Ooo yeah. I am not looking for any competition, just like life simulation games in general so I thought I should ask if there's any games you guys like in that category.Oooh interesting thread But too bad that there's never been any real competition
Oooo yess!! I loved Virtual Families!Te best you'll get i think is Virtual Families which isnt much competition .
I was considering Second Life but isn't it like an online social chatting kinda thing?Second life can be considered a competition.. Not really.- if you like app games on ipad, there is a game called Village Life! I guess that is kinda similar where they have kids and grow up
- edited November 2014Hmm, there isn't a lot of competition on the life simulation part. But if you enjoy the kind of gameplay, and providing people with their needs, you may also like city building games.
Tropico is one of my favourites. You take on the role of a Fidel Castro like person, and have to satisfy the people on the island with a communist dictator regime. Trailer:
Anno 2070 is also a favourite. You pick out a people with their own specialities (green environmentalists, technologists, etc.) and will have to develop their places and do politics with other people on the same map. Trailer:
Spore is not a city builder, but a life simulation. It was made by Will Wright, the same bloke behind The Sims and Maxis. You'll get born as a bacteria and will evolve yourself to full blown animals where you'll have to eat, or get eaten. Trailer:
And of course there's SimCity and CitiesXL, both are city builders in their purest forms, but don't care much about the people I think. It may be worth having a look - Oh I've always fancied having a go at Spore. Is it really good?

Spore is..strange . its part galactic civilizations part Civilization and part make things look like whatever the frik you want . theres really no other way to describe it . I would recomend it if your looking for a light somewhat comedic civ/creation type game . Steam sometimes has it at a discount so maybe look into getting it there instead of Origin . - edited November 2014I love the earlier stages in Spore. The world conquering part was borimg for me though.
@OP - Wandering Willows, Sprouts, Westward, Virtual Villagers.3 - I love the earlier stages in Spore. The world conquering part was borimg for me though.

yea thats kind of the way it is for me too . once they go to space it kind of dies down for me . - I love the cell stage and the preevolution stage. Its just like CAS in S4, but I spent all my time collecting all the parts I could find just so I can customize my creature.0
- Yes, spore was great for the first two levels I think. After that I lost interest. I'd rather just create weird creatures.
As far as the original question, second life maybe? But as noted not really...It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else. - Oooh I'm impressed with you guys, I only used to watch my brother playing Spore and I didn't understand a thing0
- Oooh interesting thread But too bad that there's never been any real competition
I agree. I'd love to see a genuine competitor to the sims series. Personally I'd like to see one that's more for adults and not the baby 'T' for teen stuff anymore. I'm so tired of EA always keeping things so childish, zombies that eat plants, vampires that have to ask permission and things like that. I want something gritty and real. I want GTA & Skyrim mixed with The sims, lol! - Try out Singles, its a life simulation, more of dating actually, but not as powerful as TheSims.0
- There was this game called 'The Movies' that my cousin bought me one Christmas and said, 'This'll un-addict you from The Sims 2.' Apparently it revolved around building a movie studio full of actors and actresses. Or something. I don't actually know because I was too addicted to The Sims 2.2
- I played the trial version of it, was really interesting, but I was also hooked in the Sims 2 at that time.1

The Movies was a pretty good tycoon game and easily modable to boot . It can be a bit of a pain to get it to work now so i cant reccomend it do to that fact .
I played that before. I thought it was fun but hated how we had to have our villager marry someone else's villager.if you like app games on ipad, there is a game called Village Life! I guess that is kinda similar where they have kids and grow up
Ooo thanks for the list of suggestions! It's my first time hearing of Tropico & Anno 2070.Hmm, there isn't a lot of competition on the life simulation part. But if you enjoy the kind of gameplay, and providing people with their needs, you may also like city building games.

Yesss!! I would like to see that too! I've actually always wanted to try out Skyrim. I think I'll be doing that soon .Oooh interesting thread But too bad that there's never been any real competition

- Imvu is fun. its not necessarily like Sims but you get to make your own avatar and you can roleplay what your avatar does.
Sims franchise is a classic example of real life simulator. It doesn’t have next-gen graphics, but it has a unique soulful universe of funny characters, who live rich virtual lives under human command. Download the Sims 4 game for PC or other console, you will get the newest life simulator of the Sims series. Nevosoft games for mac.
Graphics 4.5/5
![House House](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Li8ChBg2NXc/maxresdefault.jpg)
Sims 4 doesn’t pretend to provide realistic visuals. All landscapes, surroundings, objects and characters have realistic proportions and physical parameters, but they look quite cartoonish and don’t sparkle with details. They just don’t have to! There’s absolutely nothing to take serious. People, ghosts, pets, gnomes, aliens - in Sims universe they all exist side by side. That’s why everything is rendered in plain 3D graphics and low-resolution textures. Maybe, the next chapters will look more realistic, but there’s no need for that.
Gameplay 5/5
Home Building Games For Mac Like Sims 3
To begin playing Sims 4 you have to create a character in a versatile editor. You can make custom faces, bodies, haircuts and looks to make your avatar look like you or somebody else. After that, you are offered to choose property for your single sim or a family. There are 3 types of dwellings, such as personal apartments and houses or rental estate. Each type provides different starting taxes and living conditions.

After settling down, you have an opportunity to find your sim a job that matches his or her temper, interests and life goals. These properties are adjustable in sim editor. Along with your sim’s job you have to support his or her life process and look after multiple status bars. Needs of each sim are based on classical Maslow’s pyramid, so you always have to visit you in time and fight for comfort, recognition, wealth and dozens of other human needs. This gameplay aspect is very realistic.
Controls 5/5
In Sims 4 controls don’t differ from previous parts. Quite important to notice, that Sims 4 is played similarly great on any devices. https://berryyellow405.weebly.com/blog/3rd-person-shooter-games-mac-free. However, the console version lacks some PC keyboard shortcuts.
Replay Value 4.5/5
The replayability of Sims 4 is on the highest level. This game provides hundreds of various scenarios and gameplay features, which are not explorable in a single sim lifetime. It may be quite boring to play the basic version without addons, but they’re easily purchasable in-game market to bring you many new tasks and adventures. You can make a single game session everlasting by creating characters you like and making children to grow them and start the circle again. Also, you can install Sims 4 custom content and Sims 4 mods made by other gamers.
Conclusion
All in all, Sims 4 is a great gaming experience for people of all ages and cultures. It’s the first and the best real-life simulator in video game history, and it’s worth playing just due to these facts. Sims 4 is fun, versatile, engaging, exciting, huge, unobtainable and everlasting. It’s a AAA project that deserves attention of any gamer. It simulates real-life issues with flavoring them with a good sense of humor.
